Happy Moment Monday

Jaimison grew grass at school during their garden theme unit and she was soooo proud of herself! love it!
Steuben's has sort of become our place to go every other Wednesday before our support group meetings...I love this time to re-connect with the hubby, it's always so delicious too!!! :)
Jaimo has really started being braver at the playground and has so much fun!

Since staying home I have started really appreciated and enjoying the little things....I'm so much less stressed out! I love being home with my little monkey!

March for Babies

I decided to sign up for the March for Babies walk about a month before the walk. I'm so proud of little Harper for inspiring so many people to donate to this amazing cause. We had a great team (Team Harper Cupcake) that was able to walk with us...some of our best friends and family! I feel so lucky to have so much support! Together we raised $1,245 in less than one month! I'm so proud of us for the work we did to save babies! Thank you so much to everyone that helped support and donate to our team!!!!! I can't wait to start fundraising for next year's walk! xo

If ever there is tomorrow...

“If ever there is tomorrow when we're not together.. there is something you must always remember. you are braver than you believe, stronger than you seem, and smarter than you think. but the most important thing is, even if we're apart.. i'll always be with you.”

Winnie the Pooh quote

I just love this quote....makes me hope this is what Harper might be saying to me....

Happy Moment Monday!!

Happy Moment Monday.....

Cotton candy hair....basically pink highlights...how could that not make you happy?!
We are loving the warm weather these days and my toes are loving the opportunity to be brightly painted and to wear sandals!

Terry and I had fun going to the nuggets game on a double date with some friends....too bad the Nuggets had to lose!
We joke about how sassy little Miss Jaimison is, but really I love her little attitude. Makes me smile. :)

Happy Moment Monday

Jaimo got a trampoline from the Easter Bunny...it's the perfect size for her and she LOVES it! After this picture was taken she ate a popsicle on the trampoline...oh to be 3 again! :)
Such a perfect day at the zoo....beautiful weather, great friends, picnic lunch! We just couldn't get the two girls to stand still together for a photo op....Jaimison always says, "No more pictures Mom!" She has learned early on...notice the sassy look on her face! ha!

Girls night out on Saturday to celebrate my beautiful bestie! Happy D Day!!! So nice to spend time with the besties....now this makes me happy! :) What a great night!!!!

Harper's Sunset

I have been posting and lurking on a message board about Loss where there are unfortunately, a lot of women having gone or going through similar situations as us. They are an amazing support system. One of these women posted about something called "Christian's Beach" a while back. There is a women in Australia who experienced the loss of her son and started a blog called NamesintheSand.blogspot.com . Her name is CarlyMarie and you can read her story here. She writes the names of children who have passed away in the sand at a beautiful beach near her home. She has a memorial page where all of the children's names go and then you can order the jpeg. The picture of Harper's Sunset turned out more beautiful than I could have imagined. I love it. I can't wait to have it framed in our house and have a little piece of our sweet little baby on our walls.

Glenwood Springs

We decided to take a family vaca up to Glenwood Springs for a long weekend. Family time is always a great time. We opted to take the train up to Glenwood. Neither Terry or I had ever taken a passenger train and Jaimison is always up for an adventure!

Only bummer thing was that Union Station is under construction so the the temporary Amtrak station is down yonder and wasn't nearly as cool, but who are we kidding....Jaimison thought it was pretty darn sweet!!!!

We ate breakfast in the dining car, played ponies in the lounge car, and drank bloody marys in the observation car....so much fun!
Since I had just gotten my tattoo I spent a lot of time reading on the side of the pool in the sweet sweet sunshine....Jaimison and Terry got a lot of Daddy-Daughter time which meant swimming like a cute little fish! So cute!
We spent a lot of time walking around the super cute downtown area of Glenwood finding cafes, restaurants, and coffee shops. That is when we weren't swimming and reading and relaxing. . I wish we were still there. :)
It was actually HOT when we arrived and I ended up purchasing a fabulous sun hat to block some of those UV rays.

We found a delicious little burger joint where we ate lunch two days in a row...all that swimming was hard work! By the time we made it half way through our third day Jaimo was starting to get tired...here she is waiting for her nuggets and fries and watching a show on the iPhone...thank goodness for iPhones by the way...how did our parents do it?! :)

We had such a great trip...much needed family time. I love my family.

Happy Moment Monday

Just thinking about the pictures I'm going to post on my "Happy Moment Monday" posts makes me happy. :)

My mom and dad adopted a sweet little puppy, now named Boomer. How can having an adorable puppy cuddled up in your lap and kissing your face not make you happy?
We dyed eggs with Sara and the kiddos and had a great time, although Jaimison wasn't very into and really only dyed two or three eggs...Sara and I had a great time using all the ideas we found for dying eggs on Pinterest. Seriously Pinterest is amazing. :)

This week we visited the Littleton Museum with Lisa and Andrey....so cool! I had never been, but it was a blast checking out all the animals, including sweet little baby lambs, and all the very cool, very old houses...despite the windy wind wind! So much fun watching kids experience new things even if the squirrels, geese, and kitties are what they are most excited about! :)
